The Challenge:

Petra came with a simple ask: We need a Marketing Plan as our business is changing. Through our discovery process it became clear that while yes, Petra needed an objective Marketing Plan that was uniquely different than what they had in the past, what they were really asking for was: acquiring net new customers, increasing their retention and optimizing their operations to run faster with less resources.

The Solution:

During this process, we set three key metrics around new business, elongating retention of current customers, and hours and systems automated.​ To accomplish this work we identified updated branding with a new website and members portal, digital marketing outreach with persona based campaigns as well as new CRM and Marketing Automation implementations.

Interactive Members Portal

As part of our retention and engagement goals, we wanted to create a secure area for Petra Members to receive VIP access to editorial events and content as well as worksheets, workbooks and on-demand content specific to their teams. This portal is fully integrated with their new website and CRM which handles authentication (through the CRM), allows for live chat routing to their specific account rep in real time and pulls in member specific content managed through their website.

As part of our lead generation goal, digital marketing sits squarely in the center. Through our work across paid social and search with both broad and extremely narrow audiences we have been able to achieve a 10x return on ad spend and generate over 1.2M in LTV.

Internal/External Automation

Early on the subtle question was how to do we do more with less and run faster at the same time. Because of this, we knew automation was going to be key. We have worked with Petra to redesign their leads processes with automation at each step from Lead to MQL to SQL. We have worked with them to automate the registration, confirmation and lead-up series for events and so much more. Most interestingly to us is the internal automation we have worked with them on – saving over 1,000 man hours in their organization.

With this fully integrated in with their CRM, e-signature and Automated Operations processes, creating a custom scope in minutes is now a reality. Further more, when the deal is signed, it automatically triggers the fulfillment teams to begin their on-boarding workflows.

The site is built for lead generation, housing multiple gates, as well as driving editorial content like workshops, webinars and thought leadership, plus an e-commerce shop to boot.
